The Italian actor, Flavio Insinna exhibits his marvellous talent in his heartwarming portrayal of Don Bosco. As the story of this great Saint unfolds, we are drawn into his compassionate efforts to help young boys and men who,m due to dangerous work conditions, frequently risked their very lives trying to support their families. This saint had a tremendous devotion to Our Blessed Mother. Her love inspired him and strengthened him in his Jesus centered mission.
His work was an example of a holy priest, who fueled by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, courageously lived the Works of Mercy, So moving was the mutual inspiration he shared with another great saint, during the short life and holy death of young Dominic Savio.
